My Computer Is Slow----How to Fix Slow Computer?

After a long period, we find that our computer is getting slow. Do you know why? And how to fix slow computer performance?

Well, it is normal for computer getting slower, because we don’t clean up our computer very well after many software are installed on our computer. Following are some steps to fix slow computer performance.

1. Delete unnecessary program files in C disk
C disk is used for storing program files. If you have remaining less than 1GB, your computer may get slower. So you can delete some unnecessary program files from C disk to free up more space.

2. Stop startup item in Task Manager
Unnecessary programs are running in the background which slows down your computer. Remove any unwanted or unnecessary startup items which get load automatically when computer starts.

To do so, you need to open Task Manager. Before you stop any unnecessary processes, you need to know exactly what it is. If it is the unnecessary processes, then just stop it. If you are not sure, let it be there.

3. Delete registry entries from Registry Editor
Registry Editor is used to view and change settings in the system registry, which contains information about how your computer runs. Registry Editor lets you view registry folders, files, and settings for each registry file. Windows refers to this information and updates it when you make changes to your computer, such as installing a new program, creating a user profile, or adding new hardware.

Before you delete the unnecessary entries, you may need to back up your registry. One incorrect change to your computer’s registry, could render your computer inoperable.

So, better not clear your registry entries, just for in case.

4. Make sure your computer fan is working well

Fan of your processor or exhaust fan of computer which throw out the heat outside from the computer stopped working due to dust, dirt or hair. This can cause computer overheat and slow down your computer performance. So make sure all fan of your computer are working fine.
